Coin gate
15 putts · Get immediate feedback on start direction.
- Roll 15 putts through the two markers toward a hole.
- Count clean passes through the gate, even if the putt misses.
- Narrow the gap gradually as the start line improves.
Separate start line from pace so you know what to practice after a miss. Build short-putt confidence and long-putt control.
Start the free drills ↓A putt can start where you aimed and still finish far away. Use a gate near the ball to test start line, then use long-putt ladders to train pace. Track each separately.
Find a reasonably flat practice putt for the gate drill. Place two coins or flat markers just wider than a ball, about a foot in front of the starting point. Begin with a wider gap if needed.
Pick one of the drills below and write down its score. Repeat it on another day before changing your practice plan. A small trend is more useful than one perfect shot.
Choose one drill for your session. Each gives you a clear result to compare next time.
15 putts · Get immediate feedback on start direction.
12 putts · Learn to stop the ball at different distances.
20 putts · Practice short putts from every side.
These are starting checks, not a diagnosis from a swing video. Make one small change and compare several shots.
Work on a wider gate before narrowing it; count starts independently of makes.
Practice pace on the fringe ladder from changing distances.
Use the clock drill and keep the same routine from each position.
Give long putts a three-foot finish zone and score how many stop inside it.
These expanded lessons are planned for the $7.99/month Basic membership. They are previews only; subscriptions and access are not live yet.
A deeper routine for choosing a start line on breaking putts.
A progressive plan for long putts and three-putt reduction.
Demonstrations for gate setup, distance control and routine.
The proposed $14.99/month Plus plan would add extra feedback and swing-analysis tools. Those features are still being developed. See the proposed plans →
